- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/eight teaspoon ground cinnamon
- one/eight teaspoon ground nutmeg
- one/eight teaspoon pepper
- 1 tiny butternut squash (about two pounds)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted

- Preheat oven to 350°. Mix seasoning ingredients. Halve squash lengthwise remove and discard seeds. Location squash in an 11×7-in. baking dish coated with cooking spray. Brush with melted butter sprinkle with seasonings.
- Location two teaspoons brown sugar in the cavity of every half. Sprinkle remaining brown sugar over lower surfaces.
- Bake, covered, forty minutes. Uncover bake right up until squash is tender, about twenty minutes.
This can also be created in the IP in much less than half the time. When done, I then fork the squash and include the butter and seasonings.
My squash was already minimize up into cubes, I tossed it with the other components and baked. Excellent fall side dish!
Baked the suggested time and then additional the extra time as talked about in the recipe. It was still challenging as a rock. Reduce t up in bites and MW’d for 10 minutes, reduce it into bites and fed it to the 5 dogs (they need veggies also.
Fantastic taste. I peel and chunk then toss with butter and spices. Roast 400* approx 35 min.

I believed this turned out ideal. I will definitely make again with other types of squash.
I changed this recipe just a tad, by peeling the squash, and cutting it into 2 inch cubes. I utilised acorn squash in place of the butternut a few instances and it came out great. The guys at my husbands deer camp feel this is a fantastic recipe.
